It is more a matter of seeing authority type behavior that didn't exist before. In case you did not understand or I didn't make it clear: After I write to an individual, the same message is repeated to the person I have written to. It's called one-upping, and isn't necessary. That is also new. Never seen it before, actually. So much for your thoughts about repetition. It doesn't apply. If you need further assistance, look back to messages about cassocks as just a start.

Happy cocktail hour everybody. Is it time yet? 2 more minutes EST, that is.

Ken Brown

Hendrix: Uncharacteristically bitchy today, aren't you? Your seizure upon my previously revealed biographical information is oddly misguided and evasive. First of all, it's the staple of my work (read my recently posted poem, Luna Park, and look up examined life as a literary imperative) and secondly, you seem to have missed the word "here" in the post to which you refer. It clearly indicates that my personal data would be inappropriate to the matter at hand were it not for the fact that it debunks your posturing proclamation of rugged individualism. In addition, your diversion into the supercilious has, as has occured before, left the subjects that initiated this discussion behind. What happened to Republicans and Democrats, Obama and Bush, Bob Herbert, Valerie Lyman, and the illusion of democracy?
Roberta: I'm shocked at your observation, but I won't allow myself to be carried away by it. :-D
PS Art: The authority you seek is the right to think. Repetition is a tool of clarity. Critique is a reaction to what is said or done. Without it, we would be rubber duckies nodding in agreement. And what you can expect is that rarely does anything turn out the way you expected.

PS Art

Father Hubert, Did you write under F.H.? As a long time member of this site, along with many others, I feel that it is our right to know if you have been given some kind of authority that is unknown to us. Perhaps I missed an announcement since not being here often in recent months compared to the past.
Questions:1) Why do you repeat what I have said to others? 2) Why do you give a critique of everything said here?///I think that you have been given an assignment and that we must have missed an announcement. Is that it? It's our right to know so that we know what to expect.

F. Keep those puns coming!
Hendrix: Why the sour grapes? "The Brig" is a great play. Some have called it a masterpiece. The fact that Ken is a prick has nothing to do with it. Picasso and Miles Davis were pricks, and we celebrate their artistic achievements. Cut Ken a break.
