Bettina Forget - Born in Germany, I wandered the world (Hamburg, London, Singapore, Montreal) and finally settled in Canada. My work expresses my love for science - meteorology, microbiology and physics, with an emphasis on astronomy. Astronomy is my starting point for every visual journey: observing star-birth and star-death, exploring the possibility of life on the moons of the solar system, finding echoes in microscopic and macroscopic forms... the galaxy has become my back-yard. I work every day in my open studio in downtown Montreal, so drop by if you're in the area.
